| The next Aaliyah? | | A friend of mine compared Rihanna's popularity with how Aaliyah was. I think Rihanna has a beautiful voice, and she is pretty with a fun sense of style which is important. However I think it is too early to compare her to Aaliyah, and she is only 18 so it is early das in her career.Rihanna's music is a lot more 'pop' and as much as I like it I wonder about the longevity of yet. Yet I can pull out a very old track by Aaliyah and still want to listen to it over and over. I don't think 'Umbrella' is one I'd want to revisit for the time being.What do you think of Rihanna?
