| | Tonight I'm the babysitter | | The wife is out tonight with her sister attending a party that will somehow end up being an all night card game. As you can see, I'm stuck at home blogging on MyLot, babysitting a 7 year old and two 13 year old girls. It's going to be a loooooong night.I can see that my son has dodged this bullet by ducking out the house earlier today so he can spend the night hanging out at his friends house to play the newest "Grand Theft Auto" game on xbox360. Not like boys really need encouragement to be criminals. So I wont have any support by my only other male household member. No wife, no son and three little girls that wont shut up. Hours on hours of chatter about how fat each other looks and boys at school. Who likes what Jonahs Brother and the constant playing of Hannah Montana music reminding me that I'm getting really old.Uh Oh...silence.The three girls have disappeared from the living room and the TV is off. What happened? Oh? There they are standing behind me. I guess the entertainment with each other has become too boring so they decided to turn on me.Here it comes. The million questions. What are you doing? Are you writing about us? How come... | |

| The "push me button" of a Hannah Montana doll | | Little girls loves talking dolls, Talking dolls have this button that they have to push just to make them talk or sing. Usually they were placed on the back of the doll to make it talk. Anyway there is a Hannah Montana doll marketed for little girls that became a cause of outrage to some parents when they found out where the push me button is located. Watch the video to know where the "push me" button is placed.

| Emily Osment from the Hannah Montana show and my dilemma | | Emily Osment (Disney)is going to be in our town this weekend and my 19 year old is going to see her. He wants to take my 10 year old. He is very responsible, goes to college and works a part time job. I trust him completely. But the concert is at a downtown club. 7pm on Friday night. Of course no alcohol will be sold where they are at, but right next door they are having draft beer and other nightly specials. And the downtown area turns into party atmosphere at night, especially on the weekends.
I just can't decide. I know my daughter would love love love to go and it is one of those rare opportunity's that don't come so much.
I was wondering what you guys think. | |
| | Hannah Montana, What did you think? | | I have a DS that is 8 and a DD that is almost 6, We just recently rented Hannah Montana on the advice of a friend. We were very pleasantly surprised of the appropriateness of all the relationships in the movie. Unlike High School Musical 3, we found Hannah Montana to be very family oriented and much like the show. The music was much better than her other albums and I was just very pleased, what did you think? Any other good suggestions like that for a good family movie? | |

| | Hannah Montana the movie | | Yeah, yeah, I know i'm behind in the times because hannah montana the movie has been on the big screen and is now out on DVD. Well, let me tell you something. It is worth every penny of it. I hadn't seen it until I watched it on DVD. The dvd's are coming out so quickly now that I just wait until they bring what I wanna see out on DVD. So the question I'm asking is did anyone else besides me wait until the dvd came out to see Hannah montana the movie for the first time? I really enjoyed it. I think it showed a side of Miley that we normally don't get to see. I also love all the songs that they sang in them. | |

| Does anyone else think that Hannah Montana, The Jonas Brothers, etc, should just | | kinda drop off the face of the earth? Nothing against them as people (though I probably wouldn't like them if I knew them - I still can't judge that without actually knowing them) but they are what is wrong with today's youth. Well, part of it, but really, I just detest them for their music. What happened to making good music? I'm tired of all these Disney Princesses ruining the minds of the young people with what should be called garbage and not music. Anyone else feel the same way? Support my opinion?Or maybe you disagree. I don't know. I'm sure some of you do. Tell me why then. | |
